Junior League of Bakersfield Enabling Funds – Funding Alert 2011

The Junior League of Bakersfield (JLB) is accepting Project and Enabling Fund proposal applications from non-profit community organizations used for the purpose of improving the welfare of women and children in Bakersfield and Kern County.

Non-profit agencies that successfully complete the Project and/or Enabling Fund Application and meet the stated criteria will be considered for funding. Enabling Funds are one-year grants ranging from $100 to $2000 for one time expenditures. Project Funds can be greater than $2000, include a Junior League Committee and can be on-going (up to three years) with annual renewal. Organizations applying for funds may use a variety of strategies and activities that are consistent with the JLB Mission and focus area.

All applications need to be delivered to JLB and/or postmarked no later than Dec. 1, 2011,
