Holiday Cottage
We need volunteers to work at the Holiday Cottage on JLB day December 12th. The holiday Cottage is open from 10am to 7pm and each volunteer will need to work a minimum 2 hour shift. The shifts would be from 10-12, 12-2, 1-3, 3-5 and 5-7pm. We would need at least 1 person per shift but up to 3 people per shift would be better. 1 two hour shift = 1 impact credit.Safe Surrender Baby Kits
100 Safe Surrender “kits” are being put together for the Kern Country Hospital ER’s and Fire Stations to educate the community of “safe surrender baby” laws. They need pacifiers to include in their kits. 5-10 ($25 value) individually wrapped “NEWBORN” pacifiers =1 impact credit. A limited number of pacifiers are need. - 2 Smoke Detectors= 1 credit, benefits the City and Kern Country Fire Departments
- $25 of children’s socks, undergarments, infant clothing, duffle bags, backpacks = 1 Credit, benefits the Jamison Children’s Center
- $25 laundry supplies (detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets) = 1 Credit, benefits the Sheriff’s Activities League.
- GAP = 1 credit (Please make check payable to JLB and in the memo section indicate the check is for GAP).
