Junior League of Bakersfield will be holding informational events for the Spring 2010 Provisional Class in the fall of 2009. All informational events will be held at The Community Center, 1928 19th Street. All informational meetings will take place at the Junior League of Bakersfield Community Center

A prospective member must be at least 21 years of age prior to December 31 in the year she applies, and must have been a Kern County resident for at least three months prior to application deadline.
A prospective member must be able to fulfill the following Junior League requirements:
- Provisional training course
- Attend general membership meetings on the second Tuesday of each month and one Board or Council meeting
- Committee placement
- Fundraising obligations of ticket sales and volunteer hours as per fundraising motions
- Annual dues of $115
- Provisional Fee: $50 payable with application prior to provisional year
- Possess interest in voluntarism and commitment to community service
- Interest in developing her potential for voluntary community participation
